TIAMAT Tier 1 is a training that gives you the basic alphabet for reading your own experience—simple moves to notice, track, and regulate so you act with more agency day to day.
We work as an ecology of practices—dialogue, imagination, mindfulness, embodiment—because no single method does everything, and the mix covers each other’s blind spots.
Our science frame is 4E cognitive science: knowing is embodied, enacted, embedded, and extended (with tools and people), so exercises make sense in real life.
You’ll also learn exaptation—repurposing a skill from one exercise in another—so your learning actually transfers.

Scattered methods, no weave: many programs hand you tools but not the fit; Tier 1 braids practices so skills transfer (exaptation).
Low agency + self-deception: when options are invisible, you stall; Tier 1 trains “affordance spotting” so you choose and self-correct.
Confusing containers: “safe space” promises, low growth; Tier 1 is a training container—challenging by design so safety comes from skill.
Therapy vs. self-help muddle: this is participatory group development—not treatment, not solo hustle; we name contraindications up front.

Expect an integrative, science-in-action vibe: we mix methods, notice how body–action–relation–tools (4E) shape thinking, ask “where else can this help?” and reuse skills, all inside clear agreements that invite accountable, supported challenge.
Tier 1 is:
Psychoeducation on steroids; you'll learn our "Meta-Maps", a framework for knowing, being and valuing, grounded in the best of philosophy, backed by cutting-edge 4E cognitive science.
Learn by do: Just enough theory to fool around and find out in the exercises.
Tier 1 is not:
Abstract argumentation. We'll challenge through experience and experience through challenge.
Low-stakes therapy. You might realize something about yourself, but we're not making that happen. It just might.
Self-empowerment. We'll propose a way of looking at the world, see if it makes sense to you.

Ethan Hsieh
Practice Researcher, Transformational Facilitator
Ethan Hsieh is working in the intersection between actor-training and 4E cognitive science. With an MA in Professional Practice: Theatre and Drama Facilitation from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Ethan has designed and delivered transformational community-building programs, retreats and workshops in Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, France, Czechia and Singapore.

Adéla
Support Facilitator
Adela lives in the Czech Republic, where she studied teaching. She found a voccation that suits her perfectly and currently works as a funeral guide. In addition to it she works as a volunteer at a hospice and in harm reduction service at festivals.
The strongest way for her to perceive existence is, let's say, an intuitive grasp. This, combined with metaphorical perception and simplicity, is sometimes very useful for naming situations.
Just as she likes to share time/space/food/presence with friends, she also explores ways to be alone and not run away right away. Nature helps 🙂

Rens
Support Facilitator
As a facilitator, Rens brings with him a deep care for psychological safety, a fierce sense of fairness, and an orientation towards alleviating unnecessary suffering. With a background in both astronomy and contemporary theatre, Rens brings a rare blend of clear-sky thinking and embodied mischief to everything he does. He creates spaces where people feel gently invited into transformation.

Tier 2: Anagoge Through Dynamics
Tier 2 is where we befriend the unconscious—what moves beneath awareness—and learn to flow with it. We train in noticing, regulating, and integrating what surfaces so models of self-and-world get more reality-ready.
